Chemical Peels
Professional-grade chemical exfoliation using a carefully selected acid solution — customized to your skin type and concern — to dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells, accelerate cell turnover, and reveal smoother, brighter skin beneath. Peels are customized per client, ranging from light refreshing peels to medium-depth treatment protocols for more significant skin concerns.
Treatment Overview
What are Chemical Peels?
A Chemical Peel is a professional-grade resurfacing treatment that uses a precisely selected acid solution to chemically dissolve the bonds between dead, damaged skin cells — triggering accelerated cell turnover and revealing the fresher, smoother, more evenly pigmented skin beneath. Unlike mechanical exfoliation, chemical peels work at a cellular level and can be calibrated to penetrate at different depths depending on the concern being treated.
At Peach & Fox, every peel is individually customized. There is no single-formula "standard peel" — Kat selects the acid type (AHA, BHA, TCA, or blended formulas), concentration, and application technique based on a thorough skin assessment and your specific goals. Light peels deliver a refreshing reset with minimal downtime, while medium-depth protocols address more significant pigmentation, acne scarring, and texture irregularities.
Chemical Peels are one of the most evidence-based, clinically proven treatments in skincare — and when customized correctly, they are transformative for concerns ranging from active acne to stubborn melasma.

Who is This Treatment For?
Chemical Peels are among the most versatile treatments in esthetics — the right peel for the right skin type can address a remarkably broad range of concerns. They are particularly effective for:
- Hyperpigmentation, sun spots, and melasma
- Active acne and congested, breakout-prone skin
- Post-acne marks and scarring
- Uneven skin texture and rough patches
- Fine lines and early signs of aging
- Dull, sluggish skin needing a "cellular reset"
- Oily skin with enlarged pores
Note: Certain skin types, conditions, and medications require specific peel formulations or may temporarily contraindicate treatment. Kat conducts a full skin consultation and health intake before your first peel session.
Your Experience
What to Expect
Skin Assessment & Peel Selection
Kat assesses your skin type, sensitivity level, and primary concerns — then selects the precise acid type, concentration, and application protocol for your session.
Cleanse & Degrease
Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and degreased to ensure the acid solution contacts the skin evenly and penetrates consistently across all zones.
Acid Application & Timing
The customized peel solution is applied in controlled layers and left for a precise duration. You'll feel tingling or mild warmth — Kat monitors your skin's response throughout and adjusts as needed.
Neutralization & Calming
The peel is neutralized at the optimal moment, followed by soothing serums and SPF to protect and support the skin post-treatment.
Post-Treatment
Aftercare & Results
Downtime varies by peel depth. Light peels produce minimal redness and dryness — most clients return to normal activities the same day with only mild pinkness. Medium-depth peels involve 3–7 days of visible peeling as the skin sheds its treated surface layer and reveals brighter, more even skin beneath.
During the peeling phase: do not pick, peel, or scrub the skin. Allow it to shed naturally. Keep the skin hydrated, avoid sun exposure, skip retinoids and strong actives, and apply broad-spectrum SPF every morning without fail.
A series of 3–6 peels spaced 3–4 weeks apart delivers the most transformative results for hyperpigmentation and acne. Many clients layer Chemical Peels with Microneedling in alternating sessions for a comprehensive skin transformation protocol. Dermaplaning before a peel can enhance penetration significantly.
The Peach & Fox Difference
Why Choose Peach & Fox
Chemical peels applied incorrectly — wrong acid for the skin type, excessive concentration, or improper timing — can cause irritation, hyperpigmentation, or burns. At Peach & Fox, Kat's advanced training in chemical exfoliation ensures every peel is selected and applied with precision — the right formula, for the right skin, at the right depth.
You receive individual, one-on-one attention throughout your session in a private studio — not a spa where the esthetician leaves the room and checks a timer. Kat monitors your skin's response continuously and makes real-time adjustments.
- Acid type and concentration selected individually per client
- Continuous monitoring throughout application
- Professional-grade formulas — not available for home use
- Safe for a wide range of skin tones with appropriate formula selection
