A small healing area forms at each removal site. Keep treated areas clean and dry for the healing period (1–2 weeks). Apply the recommended healing ointment as directed. Do not pick at any scabbing — allow the area to heal naturally for the cleanest result.
Avoid sun exposure on treated areas during healing, and apply SPF once fully healed. Each treated skin tag is permanently gone — they will not regrow at the treated site. Note that new skin tags may form elsewhere over time as this is a hereditary and hormonal tendency in some individuals.
